Weekend Update

We had a busy weekend again. Josh keeps saying how we have something to do every weekend and it's true. We have something every weekend in the summer. I think its fun, we have lots of friends and family who want to see us and it keeps us super busy. It always slows down once the weather isn't so great and school starts again.


The first thing I need to share is how well Emma has been coloring lately. She really takes her time to cover the whole picture. She isn't even three yet and this is how well she is doing. I did not help her at all. She just sat and colored away. She mostly uses her right hand but I see her still use her left every once in a while too.

Birthday Bash

Saturday we ventured over to my Aunt Denise's house to celebrate two of my cousins' birthday. Here are the birthday kiddos:

This was Emma's first EVER game of Duck, Duck, Goose. She didn't really "get" the concept and when they said "goose" she would run flapping her goose wings. It was super cute!

Aunt Denise had these fun obstacle courses. It took a bunch of people to set them up and it became super fun once we introduced the dizzy bat to the beginning of the game because, come on, what fun is an obstacule course without a dizzy bat. Not fun at all, that's what!

Well that's it another weekend gone by. This summer is going to come to an abrupt end very soon and we are trying to enjoy every last minute of it. Sunday we hung around the house and played with our neighbors, Lucas and Jake. Unfortunately Josh has to work on Monday so the week is starting earlier this week, boo!
