Cake Smashing Anyone?

It all started with out Emma Do. Some of you might remember these photos from Emma's first birthday (3 years ago!) For those of you that couldn't attend I had framed three pictures of Emma smashing a cake. Here are two I found on this computer:

Yesterday it was Ethan's turn. I tried it out earlier with a chocolate frosted cupcake and it turned out looking pretty gross so I ran to Stop and Shop and picked this one up instead.

I think he liked it.

So start thinking now what you are going to write on his frame. You have one week!

Easter, The Almeida Way.

It all began early Sunday morning with an egg hunt...
...with the reward of baskets.

Excitement was written on Emma's face.

Ready to go out for the day.

Gifts for sweet little boys and girls.

Even a new puppy to play with. (Hi Jazy)

Ethan wasn't to sure.

Hi Lauren!

Egg Hunt #2 Katelyn and Emma did all of the finding.

Emma Quotes: The March Addition

During the month of March I tried to write down anything that Emma said that made me giggle. Here are just a few...

"I'm glad I'm not a super hero. It's scary work."

"Can I wipe your bum, Ma?"

"I like just feets!" (While running around outside barefoot)

"I'm gonna put my shoes on and then swab the deck." (and she did, sweep the deck)

"I didn't even feel it when my hair got cut!"

At 5 am in my room, "I just can't think about unicorns and rainbows anymore!"

100th (+1) Post: A Playdate!

It took me about a year to get to my 100th post. I'll try to pick up the pace for the next 100.

We met some friends at the Providence Children's Museum and enjoyed a few new exhibits. When we had been before in the summer this area was still the vet and the dental area, now they have all of these light up blocks. Ethan really liked it there.

Everyone Playing

Where's Sammy?

I can't wait for the next playdate!
