Our New Years and Beyond

We spent our New Years Eve at home with just the four of us. It was snowy and Emma was sick to her stomach a few days before so we just laid low. It was kind of nice to have the kiddos in bed by 9 and us just after midnight...ahh I'm such a grown up. I did miss my friends though, next year we will hang out again.

On 1/4/09 Jill hosted another playdate at her house. It was a little people gift exchange and it was really cute. I think Sam and Emma appreciated it the most. Emma us still talking about it.

Just because Emma is such a weirdo, I had to share this. She has really taken to decorating our house. She tells me all the time how we need to make things look pretty. The following is a picture of her decorating. She took the mat from her Biddy Baby changing table and turned it into a table runner and then accessorized. Could this child BE any more girly?

And the award for most teeth goes to...

Ethan Luke!

The poor boy has done nothing but teethe for the past month or so. His tooth count is now at 5 but soon to be 6! Every time I look in his mouth there is a new tooth in there. He now has his two bottom ones and three across the top.

Yesterday Emma, Ethan, and I hosted a little playdate. I am so happy that my friends have begun joining the dark side and having babies too. Jill Morse and I have been trying to convince our friends how wonderful it is to have kids and I guess two of them started believing us. Jill brought her two, Sam and Jack. Jill Richard brought her little cutie Eve and Emily brought "Little Anna" too. We have decided that Anna's new name is "Little Anna" because she is such a peanut!

Poor Jack was less than thrilled about it!

We had such a wonderful time. Sam and Emma enjoyed a little dressup too, but they refused to have any pictures of it taken. Maybe next time! We are going to try to do this again in January or so so keep checking back to see how our friends are growing.
