Emma's First Haircut

She is almost 3 1/2 years old so it is about time we get her hair cut. For the historic event we all piled into the car and headed over to Snip Its. It is over in Garden City and it is pretty cute in there. Emma let me put her up in the big chair and sat very still.

Ethan's trick list...

11 Months!

I know a lot of you haven't been able to see the little man lately. We seem to be in a birthday drought or something. Anyway here's the updated list:

Stands up and walks everywhere!
Drinks for a sippy cup (Mostly, he just steals Emma's)
Says Ma, Dada, Em-MA, hi, yeah, and mimics a lot of the sounds we make.
Understands, No and will shake his head no.
If you say, "love you," or "kisses" he will smack his little lips.
Claps and says, "yeah!"
Can feed himself with his fingers.
Climbs on everything!
Waves hi and bye but is is sometimes about 10 seconds after you already have left.
Loves his sister!

Emma's Day

Emma has wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese for the longest time. Josh thinks it is a breeding ground for all kinds of colds and such so she has never been until today, that is. It's not easy to be the big sister to a little man that is an early walker. It seems like Ethan has been getting a lot of attention lately and he requires a lot more of our time. Josh suggested that we take Emma out for some Mommy and Daddy time. It was just what she needed.

She now thinks Chuck E. Cheese is the best pizza ever! It was pretty good, very similar to Ronzio's.

We did stop at Wally World (AKA Wal*Mart) on the way home for a few things and she just couldn't leave the Ariel hat there. She NEEEEEEDS it for our upcoming trip to Disney. All in all I think Emma day was a big success and we need to plan another one very soon.
